Semprout is a cozy 2D farming game that runs in your browser. You start with a small plot, grow seasonal crops, raise animals, craft goods, complete delivery orders, and trade with neighbors.
It is built with an original Web3 economy on Solana: wallet connection is optional and unlocks ownership features like rare collectibles and marketplace access. The game is designed to be fun with or without crypto.
Semprout is played entirely with the mouse (or a tap on touch screens). Click anywhere on the land and your farmer walks there. Click a soil plot to plant the selected seed, click a sparkling crop to harvest it, and click buildings — the barn, bakery, market stall, or order board — to open their panels.
There is no WASD movement. A small marker shows where you clicked, and your farmer faces the direction they walk.
Every plot has living soil. Each harvest draws nutrients out of it, and soil slowly recovers while a plot lies fallow. Poor soil grows crops noticeably slower, so resting plots is part of the strategy.
Crop rotation is rewarded: planting a different crop than the one you grew last gives a growth bonus, just like real farming. The full Godot world deepens this with a complete nitrogen cycle and seasonal rotation planning.
Open the game in a modern browser — no download needed. Till a plot, plant a seed, water it, and wait for it to grow. Harvest when it's ready, then sell it, craft with it, or use it to complete a delivery order.
Coins buy seeds, animals, and buildings. XP levels up your farm and unlocks new content. SPROUT Points track your real gameplay contribution over time.
Crops are seasonal: some grow all year, others only shine in spring, summer, or autumn. Each crop has a grow time, a sell value, and a soil cost.
Rotating crops keeps soil quality high. Planting the same crop repeatedly drains the soil and lowers yields — mix it up like a real farmer.
Animals turn feed into goods: chickens lay eggs, cows give milk, sheep grow wool, goats give premium milk, and bees make honey while boosting nearby crops.
Care matters. Well-fed, happy animals produce faster and occasionally drop rare goods.
Buildings convert raw goods into higher-value products: the mill grinds wheat into flour, the bakery bakes bread, the dairy makes cheese and butter, and the workshop crafts tools and fabric.
Crafted goods sell for more, fill bigger orders, and are the backbone of a serious farm economy.
Connecting a Solana wallet is completely optional. When enabled, it unlocks on-chain collectibles, marketplace access, and future ownership features.
Semprout supports Phantom and Solflare through their official browser extensions. Semprout never asks for your seed phrase or private keys — connection always happens through the wallet's own approval popup, and disconnecting is one click.

The demo wallet is play-pretend only: it cannot sign transactions, hold assets, or touch the blockchain in any way.
SPROUT Points measure real farming activity: harvesting on time, completing orders, crafting goods, and joining events.
They are a gameplay progression track — not a promise of income. Points unlock rewards, cosmetics, and standing in the community.
The village marketplace is where players list crops, crafted goods, decorations, and rare collectibles. The current site shows a visual preview; real player-to-player trading arrives in a later phase.
